3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
POLYBAC® #1102 is a 100% solids, two component, structural epoxy specifically formulated to bond plastic concrete to hardened concrete. It is moisture insensitive and will not shrink during or after it has cured.

ADVANTAGES: Contains unique wetting agents, which penetrate the pores of hardened concrete to produce a superior bond.

ADVANTAGES: POLYBAC #1102 can be utilized as a primer coat prior to applying one of POLYGEM's floor coating systems. POLYBAC #1102 can be mixed with a dry silica sand to produce an excellent wear resistant, patching mortar for large cracks or spalled concrete. Mix POLYBAC #1002 with decorative stone for an exterior patio/ walkway coating.

4. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Surface should be prepared by using conventional cleaning methods such as shot blasting, acid etching, disc grinding, sandblasting or power washing. The surface to be covered should be free of loose materials, paints, sealants or oils.
  2. Blend 2 parts A (Resin to 1 part B (Hardener) by volume. Mix with low speed drill until uniform in color. Maintain ingredients above 50° F.
  3. Apply with brush, roller or by spraying. If non-skid coating is desired, broadcast silica sand onto POLYBAC#1102.
  4. For best results, apply epoxy mortar (POLYBAC #1111) within 30 minutes after applying POLYBAC #1102.
  5. Aggregate may be added to achieve epoxy mortar.
