3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
POLYBAC HI-MODULUS #1183 GEL is a 100% solids, two component, moisture insensitive epoxy adhesive. POLYBAC HI-MODS are formulated polysulfide free, to bond to new concrete, sound hardened concrete and many other pourous substrates. POLYBAC HI-MODS permanently bond to concrete, steel and timber to provide a high strength, structurally sound patch.
POLYBAC #1183 HI-MOD GEL is a non-sag, thixotropic formula designed for horizontal, vertical and overhead applications. POLYBAC #1183 is a multi-purpose gel commonly used to seal mortar joints in block foundations, structurally seal non-leaking cracks in walls, floors and ceilings, repair spalls, mount ports and seal cracks prior to injection. In addition, POLYBAC #1183 can be utilized as a pick-proof sealant around windows, doors, lock-ups, etc. in correctional facilities. POLYBAC #1183 meets the criteria for ASTMG-881,Type I, II, IV, V, Grade 3, Glass B & C.

4. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Surface should be prepared by using conventional cleaning methods such as acid etching, disc grinding, sandblasting or power washing. The surface to be covered should be free of loose materials, paints, sealants or oils.
- Mix POLYBAC #1183 separate cardboard. Using a trowel, mix 1 part A (Resin) to 1 part B (Hardener) until uniform in color. DO NOT ADD SOLVENTS!
- Apply to prepared surface with brush, roller, squeegee, or trowel. For pressure injection, refer to Recommended Concrete Crack Repair.
- When preparing mortar, mix 3 parts aggregate to blended material with slow speed mixing paddle. Clean tools with #20 solvent. Dip trowel in #20 solvent to obtain smooth consistency of epoxy.
