3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
POLYBAC #1605 is a 100% solids, two component, fast setting anchoring epoxy. This cold weather formula is moisture insensitive and will bond to damp or dry concrete even underwater. POLYBAC #1605 is commonly used to anchor reinforcing bars, smooth dowels, threaded rod and ties into concrete. The thixotropic paste may be used with screen tubes to anchor rods in unreinforced masonry or brick. This high performance adhesive can be used vertically or horizontally without sagging.
POLYBAC #1605 is available in gallons or cartridges. For high volume applications adhesive can be dispensed with an air-powered machine.
POLYBAC #1605 is packaged in cartridges and dispensed with a pneumatic or manually operated caulking gun. Cartridge sizes are available in 22 oz. and 11oz.

4. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Surface should be prepared by using conventional cleaning methods such as acid etching, disc grinding, sandblastirtg or power washing. The surface to be covered should be tree ofloose materials, paints, sealants or oils. Use #20 solvent to remove oils and dirt.
- Drill hole to correct diameter and depth. (At least 9 times diameter of rod.)
- Clean hole with nylon brush and blow or flush dust out of hole.
- Dispense epoxy into hole, filling from the bottom to avoid air pockets.
- Insert anchor slowly, turning anchor during the insertion.
- Heat hole with torch it temperatures are below 32° F. Maintain epoxy above 50° F for maximum adhesion to concrete and easy dispensing.
