3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
POLYBAC #1004-WB is a specially formulated epoxy paste blended with large white ceramic beads to provide a fast-setting patching compound for immediate protection of surfaces subjected to wear and abrasion.
POLYBAC #1004-WB is an easy to mix 1 to 1 by volume ratio and will cure in as little as 15 minutes.
POLYBAC #1004-WB is ideal for emergency repairs and will minimize down-time of critical equipment and process lines.
POLYBAC #1004-WB is waterproof and resistant to most chemicals and solvents.
POLYBAC #1004-WB is a thick non-sag paste compound that will allow for vertical and overhead patching.

Uses For the patching and repair of worn metal or concrete surfaces that are exposed to abrasive environments. POLYBAC #1004-WB is ideal for use on:

4. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean surface by sandblasting or grinding to provide rough white-metal profile.
- Thoroughly mix equal amounts by volume of Part A Resin with Part B Hardener until streak free. Mix only enough that can be applied in 5 minutes.
- Spread mixed epoxy with trowel or putty knife and worked well into the surface.
- Epoxy may be smoothed with a trowel dipped in a solvent.

Packaging POLYBAC #1004-WB is available in 2 kit sizes: 7 lb. - 2 Quart Kits and 30 lb. - 2 Gallon Kits.
Shelf Life Factory sealed containers of this product are guaranteed to be of first quality for min. 12 months.
Limitations
- Do not apply over 5/8 thick per layer. Additional thickness can be built up with multiple coats. Allow prior coat to harden and cool to touch before the application of the next layer.
- Not for use on wet or oily surfaces.
- Do not install when surface temperature is below 45°F (7°C) or above 90°F (32°C.
- During cool conditions epoxy will cure slower, protect finished work from wear and abrasion until fully cured.
Cautions
- Wear chemical goggles and NIOSH approved respirator. Wear proper protective clothing and gloves to prevent direct contact of resins. Consult Material Safety Data Sheet for full listing protective requirements.
- POLYBAC #1004-WB may irritate eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin.
