POLYBAC #500 High Temperature Red is a single component, non-sag gel, that cures to a tough, rubbery solid at room temperature on exposure to water vapor in the air (acetoxy cure).

POLYBAC #500 High Temperature Red was formulated to perform at temperatures ranging from -85°F to 500°F (-65 to 260°C) continuously and at 600°F (316°C) for intermittent exposures.

APPLICATIONS: The high temperature properties of POLYBAC #500 High Temperature Red makes it ideally suited for applying ceramic tiles and bricks, sealing and encapsulating heating elements in appliances and adhering bag filters on smoke stacks and manifolds.

POLYBAC #500 High Temperature Silicone Red can also be used as a sealant for venting high efficiency furnaces.

SPECIFICATIONS: POLYBAC #500 High Temperature Silicone is designed to meet the requirements of MIL-A-46106A, Amend. 2, Type 1, and when fully cured and washed meets the requirements of FDA Regulations #21 CFR 177.2600 (formerly 121.2561.)
